This place was just a commendable fit for a brief stop-in in Brown Candover with reasonable price. I especially appreciated that dogs were welcomed in the bar area, making it a joy for pet owners like me. If you need an evening drink, don’t miss the courtyard. it's a nice spot to relax.

Stunning countryside views and excellent local cuisine.
The noise insulation was appalling. I could hear every word from the guests in adjacent rooms and above. I felt extremely unsafe when I discovered the external door was left wide open and unlocked. To make matters worse, staff were unwelcoming and seemed annoyed when we arrived, contributing to an overall dreadful experience.

Charming retreat with great food
The Woolpack Inn is a delightful escape, featuring cozy rooms with charming decor. I enjoyed the warm atmosphere and the attentive, friendly staff—breakfast was a highlight, complete with fresh local produce.
While my stay was mostly positive, the mattress in my room could use an upgrade for more comfort, as I noted a bit of a gap between the beds. The limited vegetarian options for meals was also a slight miss.

My stay at The Woolpack Inn was delightful. The food was exceptional, particularly the roast beef with seasonal vegetables. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the garden.
Room was slightly smaller than expected.

can just recommend for a little getaway
Charming inn, delightful breakfast, with super friendly staff who paid great attention to our needs during our 4-night stay in a cozy Comfort Room where we enjoyed lovely views of the terrace and were happily surprised by the ample off-site parking available.
Totally content.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this cozy inn where the breakfast was a culinary delight, featuring locally sourced ingredients, and the fish and chips were some of the best I've had! the room was a bit smaller than expected and the noise from adjacent rooms was a concern. I'd definitely choose to return.

The Classic Double room was beautifully decorated with exposed brick walls, giving it a cozy vibe. Super comfy bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Loved the fresh milk left outside the room for morning tea! Only downside was the room's size—could be a bit cramped for two. But overall, pretty nice stay!
